Donaldson, one of the largest manufacturers of dust collection equipment, and filters, announced that it will soon begin construction on an additional manufacturing facility to meet increasing market demands.
The new 140,000 square foot plant which will be located in Aguascalientes, Mexico near Donaldson’s current production facility, is being constructed to increase production of the company’s filter products.
Joe Lehman, Vice President of Global Operations stated, “The ongoing economic recovery, plus our market share gains, has driven our replacement filter sales to record levels over the past year. Based on our Strategic Growth Plan, this new plant will allow us to expand both our air and liquid filter manufacturing capacity to meet our projected OEM and Aftermarket Customer demand throughout the Americas.”
Increased demand in Asia, and South America, and stricter environmental regulation in the US, and Europe, has lead increased demand for dust collection technologies, including: fabric dust collectors or Baghouses, dust collector filters, and dust collector service work such as: Baghouse filter replacement, Pulse-Jet conversion, energy audits, etc.
